Australia ASEAN Business Forum 2014

About the Forum

The Australia ASEAN Business Forum brings together local, national and international leaders and experts and is a celebration of the 40th Year of Australia ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) relations. The Forum is being organised by the Council for International Trade & Commerce in association with its member ASEAN organisations and with the generous support of the Government of South Australia and other sponsors. The ASEAN grouping comprises ten countries of South East Asia with a combined population of 600 million people. Two-way trade with Australia amounted to $71 billion in 2012/2013 (14.6 per cent of Australia's total trade). The Forum aims to foster discussions on current and emerging issues and provide an opportunity to enhance the understanding of the economic, political and cultural environment of ASEAN and its member countries. Comprising of informative and engaging speakers and raise awareness of opportunities for closer engagement between Australia and the ASEAN region. The Forum will bring together industry and business leaders from Australia and the ASEAN region and offer a great avenue to network and discuss trade and investment opportunities.

CITCSA was established in 1994 by the then State Liberal Government and has been continually supported by successive State Governments.
